January 16th, 2013

The National Guard Readiness Center in Cambridge Springs was a busy place this morning as a couple hundred soldiers prepared to deploy to Washington DC.

The soldiers will be working with DC police and other federal agencies to provide crowd control and man traffic control points around the inauguration site.

After leaving Cambridge Springs today, their first stop will be fort Indiantown Gap for some last minute training; then it's off to the nation's capitol for Monday's inauguration.

For these soldiers, it's a mission that's been done for hundreds of years.

After they arrive in Washington and do a walk-through rehearsal, everyone will know what role he or she will be responsible for.
