Snowy Blast Causing Headaches on the Roads

January 21, 2013

We're seeing our second snowy blast of the winter season causing headaches on the roads.

Both Millcreek Township and the city of Erie were busy all night and this morning keep the streets clear.

City officials want to remind you to follow the odd-even parking regulations so they have an easier time clearing the roads, especially side streets.

Upper Peach Street was bare throughout most of the day before snow began falling again around 4 pm.

In Millcreek Township, 17 crews were out with 200 miles of road in the township to take care of.

During the last snow storm crews ran in to a couple issues that township officials say are illegal and hazardous.

Out in Crawford County, officials are urging residents and businesses to be prepared.

With the cold temperatures and snow, they suggest checking on neighbors and family members who live alone.
