Doctors Lose Everything in Fire

watch video
The Millcreek fire that caused damages to four different structures Sunday morning left two medical professionals without a place to work. Dr. Kevin Sambuchino, a dentist who has been practicing for 12 years at the Lake Erie Dental Office building, says he lost everything in the fire.

"When I came here it was nothing left, it was kind of a shock. I just expected it to be partially damaged...not completely gone," Dr. Sambuchino said.

Dr. Richard Spector, a psychiatrist, worked out of the same building. When he arrived at the scene of the fire, he too was in shock.

"I was kind of walking around in there before the police came up to see if there was anything salvageable - burned my shoes - but that's all I walked out with: burned shoes," Dr. Spector said.

Although both doctors lost everything, they are still serving their patients, just in off-site locations.

If you are one of Dr. Spector's patients, he will be seeing patients at the Homewood Suites, 2084 Interchange Rd  Erie, PA 16565. If you had an appointment for Monday or Tuesday, please call to reschedule at 814-868-8505.

If you are one of Dr. Sambuchino's patients, he will be seeing patients at Minichelli & Taylor, 2606 Caughey Road, Erie, PA. You can call to book your appointment or for any other questions at 814-864-7511.
