January 23rd, 2013

It turns out breaking things can be fun. And sometimes it can help you raise money for a good cause.

Lund Martial Arts is hosting a break-a-thon this weekend to benefit a favorite local nature center, Asbury Woods.

Kids and adults alike will break blocks of wood and cement using their bare hands, an impressive technique.

The break-a-thon is from 10 am to noon on Saturday, January 26th at Lund Martial Arts on West 26th Street.

Proceeds benefit the Asbury Woods Celebration Garden.
