Sinnott Officially Announces Bid for Re-election

January 23rd, 2013

Erie Mayor Joe Sinnott officially announced today he will seek re-election.

Eight years ago, Mayor Sinnott asked the city to believe he could lead the city out of its financial troubles.

Today, in front of dozens of city officials, friends and family, he asked for that same support.

He says in the last 8 years he's had the chance to create a community that has become a model for other cities in Pennsylvania.

Mayor Sinnott says he wants to continue moving forward.

If the mayor won, it would be his third and final term as the city of Erie mayor.

Great to hear, I think, Mayor Sinnott HAS done a LOT of good for Erie, and would continue to do so for so many more things for Erie!! Good for him!! What he's been starting would help with him staying and finishing, I think!! I hope he wins, Erie couldn't do any better with someone else right now!
