Girard Man Plead Guilty to Child Porn Charges

A Girard man has been ordered to jail by a federal judge after pleading guilty to a charge he received sexually explicit photos of children on his computer.

David E. Newcomer of Cross Station Road in Girard entered a guilty plea to one charge before Judge Sean McLaughlin.

Newcomer is scheduled to be sentenced May 30.

Pennsylvania State Police and the FBI conducted the investigation that led to Newcomer's guilty plea.
