15th Annual Souper Bowl Draws Big Crowd

It's Souper Bowl Sunday! The 15th
annual Souper Bowl took place at the Shrine Club, 2525
West 38th Street, Erie, PA
16506 from 11am-3pm. Around
2,000 people were in attendance.
The event benefited the children who are helped by the Sarah Reed Children's Center. The center works with children who have emotional and behavioral problems.
Some in attendance, like Cathy Dombrowski, have attended the fundraiser for the center for all 15 years. But for others, this was a chance opportunity to try over soups from 16 of Erie's best restaurants.
"I'm up here on business and happened to be riding and saw this and I thought that it was a great cause," said Daniel Cramer from Virginia.
The winner of the competition - which the people voted for - was the Ambassador Center's Philly Cheese Steak Soup.
