PennDOT Fights Off Snow Fall

JANUARY 31, 2013- It was almost too good to be true when we had temps above 60...

    Now, another wintry blast..

Drivers are forced to deal with limited visibility, slick roadways and blustery temperatures.

We began to witness the accumulation early this morning.

Some people we spoke with say they've witnessed a total 180 in the weather ... As days back we experienced temperatures nearing 60 degrees.

PennDOT officials tell us they will be working around the clock to combat the wintry conditions.

38 plow routes have been activated with crews working around the clock until the roadways are completely clear.

In addition, PennDOT has 14 thousand tons of salt, 6 thousand tons of anti skid and 90 thousand gallons of a salt brine mix if needed.
