Supervisors Not Sold on Changes to Convenience Store

February 5th, 2013

Millcreek supervisors are still not 100 percent satisfied with development plans for a Sheetz gas station at the gateway to Presque Isle.
Sheetz officials say they're working to accommodate the township, but some things won't change like the signature red color.
However, the sign was lowered from 20 feet to 16 feet.
Sheetz officials decided to change the canopy over the pumps from 18 feet to 16 feet.
But those changes aren't satisfying the supervisors.
Supervisors are still waiting on permits to make a decision on the gas station.
They will be talking about it again at the February 19th meeting.

Comments

Those Supervisors in Millcreek are major pieces of work. No wonder Erie has a reputation of not being business friendly.
