Men Honored For Saving Tall Ship Crew

Men who risked their lives to save others were honored in Erie.

The National Tall Ships Conference was held at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel.

A special award ceremony for members of the Coast Guard. They were honored for rescuing crew members of the Tall Ship Bounty.

The Bounty capsized off the coast of North Carolina back in October during hurrican Sandy.

The first responders being honored are based at the air station in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
