watch video
February 12th, 2013

The United States Border Patrol has a strong presence in Erie, but that wasn't always the case.

In November 2002, the Homeland Security Act went into effect because of the terrorist attacks on the U.S.

Because of the international border between the U.S. and Canada, the U.S. Border Patrol started operating in our own back yard, working to protect the international border on Lake Erie.

Tonight beginning at 5 o'clock, hear from agents working out of the Erie office and ride along with a border patrol agent in Elizabeth D'Aurora's Target 24 Report.
