East Side Armed Robbery

February 14, 2013 - A man is robbed at gunpoint on Erie's east side.

It happened just after 8:00pm Thursday night at East 24th and Ash Streets.

According to Erie Police, two suspects forced the victim to the sidewalk. One of them was armed with a silver handgun.

They then stole an unknown amount of money and a cell phone.

The victim was not injured.

Police say the suspects took off on foot.
