Marquee Arrives at Bayfront Convention Center
You could say it's a sure sign that construction on Erie's Bayfront Convention Center is nearing completion. Monday morning crews began hoisting the marquee sign into position around 10:30.
The digital display panels are visible from the Bayfront Highway. This is where the Convention Center will display events occurring at the 145,000 sq. ft. facility.
The grand opening for the Bayfront Convention Center is scheduled for August 2nd. The adjoining hotel is expected to be ready around March of next year.
