Students Throw Beach Party to Help Areal Group Homes

A unique partnership between a group of teenagers and a local non-profit turned into a day at the beach today.
The Young Women's Leadership Committee organized this party with Erie Homes for Children and Adults.
The gym at Saint Benedict Community Center was transformed using a beach theme to create a fun afternoon for residents from ECHA's 16 group homes.
The committee is a new group.
The eight members, all students from Fairview High School, wanted an opportunity to give something back.
The group is also planning a fundraising walk for this June.
