February 26th, 2013

The Ferris wheel at Waldameer Amusement Park is finally back home again after a winter rehab in Kansas.

Crews from Waldameer dismantled the Ferris wheel last October and shipped the hub to Chance Rides and Manufacturing in Kansas.

The hub returned to Erie today.
The overhaul improved the joints on the ride and will make for a smoother experience for park goers.
The Ferris wheel should be back in it's spot in the park by the end of March and ready for a test run with new lights and paint sometime in April.
