The woman ejected from her SUV Monday after reportedly hitting several parked cars in a chase with police, remains in critical condition at UPMC Hamot.

Erie police were called to the 11 hundred block of West 21st Street just after 10pm Monday night for reports of harassment.

Police chief Steve Franklin says the driver of an SUV was driving erratically in the neighborhood and making threats over the phone to a woman inside a home in that neighborhood.

Erie police made several attempts to stop the SUV, but the driver continued to loop the neighborhood.

Chief Franklin says they want her to receive proper medical care first, but charges may be pending.
