Edinboro University Holds Panel Discussion on Mass Shootings

FEBRUARY 27, 2013- Nearly 100 students and faculty filled Edinboro University Compton Hall classroom for the discussion on mass shootings.

            The panel discussion fell on the 1st anniversary of the Chardon shooting where three students were killed and several were injured.

            A panel of five Edinboro University professors specializing in sociology, criminology, psychology examined the phenomenon of gun violence and mass shootings.

            Following the panel discussion, students were able to take part in a question and answer session.

I do not think any Professor is capable of saying who or when a problem like this can occur, people's minds are quite different, and I know there are similarity's, but NO one can say who or what or when these people will do things like this, it's just be to be prepared the best you can, and REALLY hope & pray they don't! I do see tho, that the people who seem to be doing things like this, have big open eyes, don't know if it makes a difference or not, but it IS there to see...
