NATIONAL BOWLING EVENT HITS THE LANES
Polish Falcons Tournament Comes to Erie in April, 2013
Erie, PA: The Erie Sports Commission (ESC) is pleased to announce that the Polish Falcons National Bowling Tournament will take place in Erie on April 26, 27, and 28, 2013, at Eastway Lanes.
The event will be held in Erie thanks to the efforts of the Polish Falcons Nest 123 and will attract more than fifty teams from across the country to Erie for team competition, as well as additional singles and mixed doubles action.
All competition will take place at Eastway Lanes on Friday and Saturday in 2 shifts, and is open only to members of the Polish Falcons. Participation in this tournament is still open for insured members of the Polish Falcons of America, and in order to register a participant must be a member at least 45 days prior to the tournament. Becky Sienkiewicz, the chairperson of the event, commented that "Nest 123 is proud to bring this event to Erie and we know that the anticipated 250 participants and their families will enjoy all aspects of the Erie community and the enjoyable competition that we plan to provide. The Erie Sports Commission will serve as a great partner for our event in helping us make the Erie community aware of this important sporting event."
