3/1/13

Traffic was stopped on Interstate 90 for a few hours last night after a head on collision sent two people to the hospital.
At 11P.M. last night, rescue crews were called to an accident near the Colt Station exit on Interstate 90.
According to reports from the scene, a red sedan was traveling east on I-90 when, for an unknown reason, the driver crossed the median and struck another car in the west-bound lane.
Both cars sustained heavy front end damage, and both drivers were taken to UPMC Hamot with unknown injuries.
Traffic in the west bound lane was backed up for miles while crews cleared the scene, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
A jeep was parked near the accident, and was reportedly side swiped by one of the cars involved.
