The Second Harvest Food Bank is partnering with some local restaurants to help the hungry in our region.

If you dine out at the participating eateries, a portion of your meal cost will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.

Oasis Pub, The Plymouth, The Cove Restaurant, Roadrunners Bar & Grill, and Jimmy Z's Timeout Tavern are all participating.

Glenwood Beer, Connoisseur Media and the Broadway Series are all partners, as well.

Glenwood Beer is donating partial proceeds of all Miller Light purchases at participating restaurants, to Second Harvest.

When you dine, you'll also get a discount voucher to the upcoming Broadway Series.

The first annual "Take a Bite Out of Hunger"event runs March 4th - 8th.

Second Harvest hopes the event will grow even more in years to come.

The food bank feeds 72,600 people a year in northwest Pennsylvania.

They are the major supplier of food to a network of nearly 300 agencies, including shelters, food pantries and weekend back-pack programs.
