Hundreds of Students Show off Science Skills at Competition
-->Students from 22 local and middle schools worked for months on projects to be used in this competition. One student we spoke with says she spent nearly 15 hours perfecting her projects yesterday.
Event overseer Paul Ashcraft, who is a lecturer at Behrend, says students competed in more than 20 events.
Naturally, the students all wanted to advance to the state meet at Juniata College, but being able to show off their work and be recognized was an even bigger deal.
"It's good to be recognized for what you like to do," said Brookville HS senior, Matthew Cauvel.
