Invest Erie Meeting

Mayor SinnottMayor Joe Sinnott and members of Erie City Council will meet Tuesday afternoon with the Invest Erie Group to discuss where the investors are with the Parade Street Grocery Store Project. Governor Rendell has extended the deadline for a one million dollar grant toward the project. The deadline is July 1st, and there is still no word on whether or not Invest Erie is ready to purchase the land at East 19th and Parade Street to begin development. Mayor Sinnott says Tuesdays meeting will allow them to see how much work Invest Erie has to do before the approaching deadline.
