For the past six years, Auto Racers for Kids charity has donated over 150-thousand dollars to children's charities, and this year is no different.

This year, Auto Racers for Kids will be donating to four charities: Erie County CASA, Kaleidoscope, The Trinity Center and Safe House.

Officials say they're hoping to surpass the $40,000 they raised last year to serve Erie's neediest children.

There are three events scheduled to help raise money. The first is the Mercer race on June 15th. The second is the Peek n' Peak golf event on July 11th. And lastly, Family Night at the Erie Speedway July 21st.
