Website Awarded Grant for Bettering Community

Eriealert.com - a website developed to create a safer community - has been awarded a grant by the Markham Vineyards located in Napa Valley.
Markham Vineyards invited communities nationwide to submit a grant application aimed at bettering the community.
Erie Alerts submitted an application and were one of two programs nationwide to receive the 25-thousand dollar grant.
The money will go towards buying radios for the neighborhood watch.
In addition to the award, Erie Alerts received a special blend of wine produced in very limited quantities.
Each bottle has a special Erie seal.
