Former Erie N.A.A.C.P President Announces Run for County Council

Another local figure is throwing his hat into the political ring.

Andre Horton, the former president of the Erie branch of the N.A.A.C.P is running for County Council.  Horton announced his run this afternoon in front of family, friends, and supporters on the steps of the Erie County Court House.

Horton says he made the decision to run for County Council six months ago.  He says he has a fresh vision to bring to the Council.


Horton is a member of the Democratic Party
