Corry Residents Working to Rescue Rabbits

watch video

MARCH 21, 2013-Local Corry groups are hopping into action to fight what they say is a bunny epidemic in their city.

Erie Area Rabbit Society or EARS and concerned residents came together for the meeting.

Residents say the city is experiencing a growing rabbit problem with nearly 150 bunnies on the loose.

They tell us the problem began when domestic rabbits escaped from cages and began to multiply.

The goal now is to catch the rabbits, find homes for them and avoid causing any harm.

If you want to adopt the rabbits, contact Ron Steger of EARS at  814-833-7505.
