Crash Anniversary Marked
A vigil will be held Thursday to remember a young woman killed in June 2006 on the bayfront.
Shante Robinson, 21, died after being struck by an SUV at the intersection of E. 8th St. and the Bayfront Highway.
She and friends were crossing the street against the light at the time of the accident.
The driver was speeding at the time and has since been charged with careless driving.
Robinsons family said earlier in the week that is not enough.
A vigil will be held Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the site of the accident to mark her death anniversary.
