The International Institute of Erie has a new man in charge. Daniel O'Brien took on the role of director. He has more than 25 years of experience working with not-for-profit organizations. He was employed by the Boy Scouts and most recently worked as a traveling nurse. The new leader says he has several goals for the Institute. His first priority is finding funding to help stabilize the center and all of its programs. Another mission O'Brien has is to make sure all immigrants in Erie have the tools they need to be successful.
