Strait Plea

One of three men accused of murder was in Erie County Court Monday. 30 year old John Strait plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter, and no contest to charges of robbery and criminal conspiracy in the beating death of Robert Ulrich Jr. State Police say Ulrich died after he was lured into a field by John Strait, his brother Jeffery Strait, and a third man, to get drugs. The trio are accused of beating Ulrich and leaving him to die.
