Old OYC Cases Re-Opened
Erie County is hoping another high profile investigation will answer a lot of questions about the Office of Children and Youth.
OCY has been under fire ever since the death of Brittany Legler - the teenager who died in the care of her adoptive mother.
Last week, Erie County Executive Mark DiVecchio announced retired judges Fred Anthony and Michael Palmisano would review cases and make recommendations to the Court of Common Pleas.
Family Court judges will then decide which cases warrant a new trial.
The process is expected to take several months to complete.
