Car Accident Knocks Down Powerlines
Around 8:45 Monday morning, a van ran into a utility pole near the intersection of West 9th and Sassafras streets.
The impact of the collision knocked some wires to the ground.
Authorities blocked off the area until Penelec was able to arrive on the scene to fix the wires.
No word on whether power was lost due to the accident.
