 Fourteen years in the making, and finally, Erie Countys portion of the 64 mile stretch of Pennsylvanias Seaway Trail is nearing completion. Erie Mayor Joe Sinnott announced today the final leg of construction for the citys Bikeway Project. The north side of East Lake Road will be improved for pedestrians and bikers from East Avenue to Hammermill Drive. Officials are excited to make this announcement Monday, as the completion of this project has been a long time coming. The final half mile link is expected to be completed by August.
