Downtown Fire Hydrant Leak

watch video
The hydrant is located at the corner of East 10th and French Streets. Around 11:15 Sunday night, large amounts of water started flowing from it. East 10th Street between French and Holland was closed for a short period of time. Water Works officials say it was an older hydrant that cracked and became unattached from the main water line.
