Man Sentenced For Attempted Murder
A Detroit man is going to prison for trying to kill his girlfriend.
24 year old Jeremy Mulligan was sentenced Monday morning before Erie County Judge William Cunningham.
He received 23 to 47 years in jail.
Mulligan shot and critically injured Kristy Corder in her East 28th Street home last August.
A jury found Mulligan guilty of attempted homicide and aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, among other charges.
Corder is now paralyzed from the neck down.
