Stolen Boats Update
Now an update, on a story we first brought you on Friday. One of the boats stolen from the marina`s on Presque Isle Bay has been recovered. A visitor walking on Presque Isle found a 28-foot Carolina Classic on the shores of beach nine. Presque Isle Park Rangers are continuing their investigation into the incident. Pennsylvania State Police are assisting in the investigation with their Forensics Team. The unit dusted for fingerprints earlier today. It does not appear anything was stolen from the boat however, there was a rope found on the vessel that authorities believe did not belong there. The Coast Guard and Presque Isle State Park are investigating.
