Senator Earll On State Budget
Republican Senator Jane Earll says Governor Rendell has refused to negotiate and they're at a true stalemate at this point.
Rendell is waiting for the state lawmakers to agree to certain initiatives he's proposed including energy and transportation bills.
Earll says the Senate and the Governor are about six to seven million dollars apart. The Governor has already sent out about 26,000 letters to state workers, letting them know they could be furloughed effective Monday morning if this budget isn't passed.
