Local Troops Deployed for Second Time

More local military men and women are heading to Iraq. The U.S. Army Reserve`s 298th Transportation Company - based out of Franklin - is heading overseas for the second time. About 170 soldiers were mobilized on June 28th, leaving the U.S. Army Reserve Center in Franklin, bound for additional training in camp Attebury, Indiana. The company`s first trip ended in June 2003.
