Treiber Death Warrant Signed
Governor Ed Rendell has signed a death warrant... clearing the way for the execution of a Millcreek man.
Steven Treiber is set to be executed by lethal injection on September 21st.
The 37 year old Treiber is on death row for setting fire to his home back in 2001 while his 2 year old daughter Jessica was still inside.
The little girl died of smoke inhalation in that fire.
Treiber was convicted of homicide is believed to have set the fire intentionally to gain insurance money and avoid having to pay child support.
