West Side Store Robbed

Erie police are searching for the man who started his new year by robbing a west side business. It happened Monday evening at the Shell convenience store at West 32nd and Pittsburgh Avenue. The clerk told police a man with a "gun shaped object" held up the store ... The suspect was described as wearing a black ski mask with goggles or a "paint ball" style mask, a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans. No one was hurt and no word on how much money was stolen.
