Plane Crashes In Crawford County

A pilot and his passenger are able to walk away with only minor injuries after a plane crash in Crawford County Friday afternoon. A Stenson 108 was attempting to land at the Port Meadville Airport around 4PM when for unknown reasons the plane flipped onto its nose.. then landed on its roof about 30 feet off the runway. The pilot, Ryan Starr of Erie was not injured in the crash. A passenger, Al Policano, also of Erie, was taken to the Meadville Medical Center with minor injures. The FAA has been called in to investigate.
