Koehler Project Still Alive
Developer Brad Fairfield admits a project that was once close to a 52 million dollar vision has been greatly scaled back.
Demolition of the old Koehler buildings happened months ago, and since then weeds are the only things growing on that property.
Phase one of Koehler Brewery Square, which has yet to get underway, will run close to 12 million dollars.
That`s with taxpayers contributing five million dollars, or just under half of what`s needed...
...and while Fairfield admits it`s not typical to see so much money given to a private project, he says it couldn`t happen without it.
