Pizza Bomber Still a Mystery

As the third anniversary approaches, still no arrests in the pizza bomber case that has fascinated the world. The FBI says it is unlikely to say much about the crime or pending arrests until indictments are in hand. Meanwhile, the family of Brian Wells remains critical of the investigation. The family wants to know more about what Wells told investigators while in custody before the bomb exploded and killed him. Wells` sister Janet Heid said investigators told her Wells said it was "black people" who put the bomb on him. However, the FBI says it has never commented publicly or to the family about who was or wasn`t involved in the crime. A prayer vigil will be held at the murder site on upper Peach Street in Summit Township on Monday, August 28th, at 5:15 p.m., in cooperation with the Sisters of Street Joseph and the Benedictine Sisters of Erie.
