Chautauqua County ATV Fatal
Tragedy out of Chautauqua County Sunday morning.
A 49 year old North Tonawanda man is dead after an ATV accident in the town of Charlott.
Randy Rowan and his 14 year old son were riding their ATV when it rolled into a pond that was about 3 and a half feet deep.
Both Rowan and his son were trapped under the machine.
Rowan managed to lift the ATV off his sons leg, but the boy was unable to lift the 700 pound ATV off his father.
Emergency crews arrived and lifted the atv off Rowan.
He was taken to Brooks Hospital in Dunkirk where he was pronounced dead.
