Wesleyville`s First Meth Lab Bust
Wesleyville Police officers responded to a full blown meth lab with the help of the State Police Clandestine Lab Response Team.
A tip led police to the lab in an apartment located above the Wesleyville Beer Distributor along Station Road.
No one was home at the time but neighboring residents were immediately evacuated.
Authorities are not sure if meth had been cooked in the apartment but they say all the ingredients to make methamphetamine were present in two large totes.
Wesleyville Police Chief says this is the first case of meth in the area in the eleven years he`s been chief.
Police have not made any arrests but they are looking for the man who was sub-leasing that apartment.
