Residents Raise "Stink"...Win
Some residents in one Millcreek neighborhood have won their battle with the Township sewer authority.
Millcreek Township wanted to build a sewage retention tank in a park next to the Kearsarge pump station on Zimmerly Road.
However, the land was deeded to the Township 45 years ago to use as a park; neighbors took the sewer authority to court.
To get around the deed, the Township bought some land just south of the park where it will build two smaller tanks.
