A group of Marine reservists stationed in Erie are home in time for the holidays. 21 Marines arrived at the Armed Forces Reserve Center before 7:00 Tuesday evening. The troops had been stationed in Iraq for eight months. They were responsible for transporting personnel, supplies and ammunition. They were escorted into town by the Pennsylvania State Police, Millcreek Township Police, and the City of Erie Police. There are no immediate plans to re-deploy the troops.
