Police Investigate Drive By Shooting
State Police are investigating a drive by shooting on upper Peach Street last night, luckily the occupants were not injured.
The shooting happened near Tinseltown in Summit Township around 10:30 last night.
The drivers side window of a car was shot out by an unknown caliber weapon.
Witnesses told police a tan sport utility vehicle with out of state plates fired the shot.
An all points bulletin was issued.
Then around 2:15 this morning, a vehicle matching that description was involved in a hit and run accident near 31st and Peach.
The driver and passengers ran from the scene.
Police are investigating wether or not the SUV was involved in the shooting earlier in the evening.
Police towed it to the station for further processing.
An investigation is continuing.
