Phone Book Donations Help Feed the Hungry

You can donate your old phone books to help Erie`s needy. Second Harvest Food Bank has coordinated telephone book recycling for the 12th consecutive year in Erie County, thanks to a grant from Idearc Media, the publisher of Verizon Print Directories and Erie Energy Products, Inc. The money received by telephone book recycling will help Second Harvest distribute food to 234 charities. Here are the places you can donate your used phone book through January 31, 2007: Erie Energy Products, Inc., Second Harvest Food Bank, Millcreek Township Municipal Building, Greene Township Municipal Building, Summit Township Municipal Building, Harborcreek Township Municipal Building, and Fairview Township Municipal Building.
