It`s Almost Like Summer In November
It was summer in November as many Erie residents participated in just about every hot day ritual.
The temperatures were 65 degrees the Sunday after Thanksgiving. A number of residents were out at the Beechwood Golf Course taking advantage of the weather, while many took the streets via motorcycle. Just five years ago, meteorologists say it was 64 degrees the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Some weather trivia, in 1896 there was a high of 70 degrees the winter after Thanksgiving.
