Kenneth Trypus goes to Court

A man charged with attempted homicide earlier this year is expected in Erie County Court tomorrow. 49 year old Kenneth Trypus is expected to enter a plea of guilty tomorrow in front of Judge Shad Connelly. Trypus was arrested and charged with attempted homicide, possession of an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person and making terroristic threats. Police say on September 14th, Trypus and his girlfriend 44 year old Portia Biven got into a heated argument in the 19 hundred block of Buffalo Road. Trypus allegedly pulled out a case cutter or razor knife and attempted to slash Biven`s throat. Police say Biven had to be taken to Hamot Medical Center.
